The markets of Antibes

Open to the sea, leaning against the wooded valleys and mountains of the Préalpes d’Azur, Antibes is as much a famous seaside resort as a city with a strong identity, anchored on a history of several millennia. The food and handicraft markets allow you to discover Antibes in a different way, to get acquainted with a very rich soil and a craft industry based on creativity and ancestral know-how.

The provençal market

This market carries all the authenticity of the South of France, with its flavors and colors, its accent and its good mood. Market gardeners offer seasonal fruits and vegetables, bursting with sunshine, producers from the nearby mountains sell their cheeses and charcuteries, local craftsmen display their specialties and let you taste jams, sweets, olive oils, wines… Florists also remind you, on the Provencal market, that Antibes is located not far from Grasse, famous all over the world for its perfumes and flowers.

The craftsmen’s market

The French Riviera welcome many artists. It is also a land of craftsmanship with a great wealth of know-how, with craftsmen who know how to combine tradition and modernity, precision and audacity. Discover in the afternoon, in the hall of the Cours Masséna, painters, sculptors, ceramists and many other artists who have come to share their original creations with you.

Night Markets in Antibes and Juan-les-Pins

In the summer, the stalls of fairgrounds, designers, craftsmen and shopkeepers invite themselves in the evening on the quays of Port-Vauban or on the Promenade du Soleil in Juan-les-Pins. You can find numerous antique items such as porcelain, crystal objects, lighting fixtures, silverware, and antique books.

  • Thursday and Saturday: Place Nationale from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
  • Friday: Place de Gaulle from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

You can also discover an antique market on Sundays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm from May to September.
